Install on Android
- Download the APK and open it.
- The first time, Android asks whether your browser may install apps: allow it.
- Tap “Install”, done.
To update, just install the new version over the old one. Your progress is kept.
Windows and Linux
- Download the ZIP and extract it (right click, then “Extract All”).
- Windows: start LetztesLicht.exe. See the box below for the blue warning.
- Linux: make LetztesLicht.x86_64 executable and start it.

Windows shows a blue warning? That's normal.
Windows warns about every game that isn't sold through a big store. Last Light is safe to run. You only have to click twice:

Is the game really free?
Yes. No ads, no purchases, no account. Download and play.
Does it work on iPhone or Mac?
Not yet. Last Light runs on Android, Windows and Linux.
Do I need internet?
No. After downloading, the game runs completely offline. Your progress is saved on your device.
How do I update?
Download the newest version from this page. On Android, install it over the old one; on PC, replace the old folder. Your progress stays.
Can I play with a controller?
Yes, on PC every common gamepad works for moving, menus and pausing. Keyboard keys can be changed in the options.
My phone is slow. What can I do?
Turn on “Power saving” in the options: fewer effects, 30 frames per second, and it saves battery. If the game stutters for a while, it also lowers the graphics by itself.
Is the game in English?
Yes, it picks the language of your device. You can switch between English and German in the options at any time.
